Old Injuries?
Often times when people come into the office and receive treatment they question me saying “Doc, I don’t remember injuring that! Or when did that happen to me I never hurt that!”
What should be known is many injuries are not traumatic injuries but are caused by every day events.
This morning while walking my dog I slipped on an icy sidewalk and regained my footing before falling.
I felt my head and skull bones jar due to the recovery, and immediately I senses my left should muscles (rotator cuff) “shut” off.
You see the skull and the many bones are supposed to move through a range of motion. When they become jarred, impacted (hitting head getting in/out of car, bumping head on cupboards/headboards, etc.), stepping off a curb and jarring the low back sending chain reaction up the spine, etc. they no longer function optimally and the nervous control to other areas of the body become affected.
Not only are the upper cervical (neck) nerves controlling the upper body muscles, but within the brain (squished, or soggy depending on pressure of the derranged bone structure) the sensory and motor areas to various areas become compromised!
Although it does not take much to restore functioning (a quick visit to see Dr. Andrew Greszczyszyn at Toronto Chiropractic Wellness Clinic) if it is not found and corrected the impact can be severe and debilitating.
Some of the common results of cranial fault injuries (malplaced, malmoving, deformed, indented, or protruding bones) include:
-headaches -sinus congestion -allergies -laboured breathing
-racing heart -racing breathing -poor eyesight -needing glasses
-heart burn -indegestion -acupuncture problems
-recurring hicupps -dropped uterus/prostate -migraines -weak muscles
-switched nervous control -dyslexia -ADHD
-and much more!!!
For this reason it become imperative that all my patients are assessed for Cranial Fault Injuries and corrections are made.
Treatments are non-invasive, low impact and use Cranial Sacral Technique a powerful advanced way of correcting skull and head problems.
